FRAGMENTO
La toxina botulínica es muy conocida por el público en
general gracias a su uso cosmético. Cuando se le dice a
los pacientes que tienen padecimientos en los que su aplicación
es una alternativa terapéutica o la mejor que se
pueda utilizar para resolverles su problema, se sorprenden
y comentan que es llamativo que se utilice como tratamiento,
si es útil para “planchar arrugas”, como han difundido
las revistas frívolas.
