The ameloblastoma, in its benign variant, is a highly invasive tumor, if it is seen and treated as such, can become malignant or recurrence; many authors attribute the malignancy or the presence of relapses in these tumors, when treated conservatively. Several reports in the literature which suggest radical treatment, reduced or canceled the likelihood of recurrence or malignant tumor. Recommend sticking to radical behavior by surgeons. There are many long-term benefits, avoiding highly aggressive recurrences and above will prevent the malignant tumor. We report the clinical case of female patient, 54 years of age with a diagnosis of malignant ameloblastoma, who initially was diagnosed with desmoplastic ameloblastoma, 15 years of evolution, being treated with alternative medicine initially performed with resection of the lesion level bilateral osteotomies ascending branch mandibular reconstruction with titanium plate and selective cervical lymphadenectomy.

Key words: Ameloblastoma, metastasis, malignant jaw tumor, malignant tumor.
