RESUMEN

Las infecciones cutáneas por virus de inmunodeficiencia humana (VIH) son múltiples, el virus del herpes simple representa una causa frecuente de consulta dermatológica en estos pacientes. La severidad de la inmunosupresión se correlaciona con la aparición de úlceras crónicas, extensas, profundas y dolorosas, con preferencia por la región perianal y los genitales. Hay pocos reportes de caso acerca de la coinfección del virus herpes simple y citomegalovirus en úlceras cutáneas de pacientes inmunosuprimidos. Se describe el caso en un paciente masculino con VIH categoría clínica c3.
