RESUMEN

Se describen los helmintos y los céstodos capaces de parasitar al ser humano, los síntomas y signos que provocan, la forma de sospechar el diagnóstico en la clínica y la de confirmarlo por exámenes de laboratorio. El tratamiento medicamentoso para cada entidad es detallado, así como las medidas preventivas individuales y comunitarias aconsejables.
