RESUMEN

Paciente de sexo femenino, de 42 años de edad con antecedentes de salud, llega de urgencia al Servicio de Medicina Interna del Hospital Clínico Quirúrgico de Holguín, Cuba, el día 8 de octubre de 2018, por presentar fuerte cefalea, aumentada desde algunos días atrás, pero aún soportable, leve dolor inconstante en la zona posterior de los ojos. No hay pérdida de conciencia, se le realiza un interrogatorio y examen físico exhaustivo, y se indica una tomografía axial computarizada donde se evidencia, presencia de hemorragia subaracnoidea e imagen sugestiva de aneurisma intracraneal Se decide realizar posteriormente angiotomografía craneal. Se impone tratamiento medicamentoso y, a su término, se reevalúa clínica y radiológicamente, con una evolución satisfactoria del cuadro.
