Historia

Aunque las primeras hepatitis agudas virales datan de la antigüedad, las primeras epidemias de hepatitis entéricas están reportadas hace 100 ó 200 años, mientras que las primeras epidemias de hepatitis transmitidas parenteralmente fueron reportadas en 1943.
