RESUMEN

Se comentan las ventajas que ha habido a través del uso de las redes sociales durante la pandemia por COVID-19 que han actuado como medios para ejercer la telemedicina; sin embargo, también se debate que, al hacer mal uso de ellas, podemos caer en infodemia, la cual ha favorecido la diseminación de información errónea a través de redes sociales, por lo que se invita a usar las redes sociales como medio para la telemedicina siempre por profesionales con profesionalismo y objetividad.
