FRAGMENTO

Tras muchos años de empleo de los antiinflamatorios no esteroides (AINE) en la terapéutica cotidiana, su lugar está claro: son de gran utilidad en el tratamiento de procesos que cursan con inflamación y dolor, uno o ambos. Los años también han permitido acumular información a propósito del lado opuesto a los beneficios; esto es, la seguridad y riesgo que significa su empleo en terapéutica a corto y largo plazo y en una población de pacientes por demás numerosa y distribuida en todo el mundo.
