RESUMEN

El procedimiento de David es una de las técnicas llamadas “aortic valve-sparing operations”, las cuales están dirigidas hacia la corrección de enfermedades aneurismáticas de la raíz aórtica ó aorta ascendente, con o sin insuficiencia aórtica. Existen varias técnicas localizadas dentro de este rubro. En este artículo se describe la técnica quirúrgica paso a paso para realizar el procedimiento de David I.
