RESUMEN

INTRODUCCIÓN

Desde 1930 hasta 1970 el término condromalacia patelar era empleado como sinónimo de síndrome patelofemoral, término sustituido por otros más descriptivos como son: disfunción patelofemoral, síndrome doloroso patelofemoral, dolor anterior de rodilla y disfunción del mecanismo extensor de la rodilla.
