Neoplasias sanguíneas con afectación peneana como primera manifestación

RESUMEN

Descripción de los casos clínicos: se presentan los casos de dos neoplasias hematológicas frecuentes, un linfoma B difuso de células grandes (LBDCG) y una recidiva de leucemia aguda mieloblástica (LAM), pero con una presentación clínica inicial extremadamente rara como es la afectación peneana. En ambos casos el tratamiento consistió en quimioterapia añadiendo además radioterapia en el caso de la LAM, sin precisar de cirugía en su manejo.
Relevancia: se realiza una revisión de la bibliografía de los casos publicados hasta la fecha, encontrando publicados únicamente veinte casos de LBDCG del pene y 5 casos afectación extramedular de LAM en el pene.
Implicaciones clínicas: el conocimiento de la afectación peneana por neoplasias sanguíneas es importante por su alta respuesta al tratamiento médico y por la posibilidad de prescindir de intervenciones radicales o mutilantes.
Conclusiones: la biopsia de una lesión peneana debe realizarse en todos los casos antes de plantearse un tratamiento local.
