FRAGMENTO
En la última década, las terapias incretínicas han
transformado de manera significativa el tratamiento
de la diabetes mellitus tipo 2 y la obesidad. Fármacos
como Semaglutide, un agonista selectivo del receptor del
péptido similar al glucagón tipo 1 (GLP-1), y Tirzepatide,
un agonista dual de los receptores GLP-1 y del polipéptido
insulinotrópico dependiente de glucosa (GIP), han
demostrado una notable eficacia para mejorar el control
metabólico y promover una reducción sustancial del peso
corporal.
