ANTECEDENTES
El grupo de cirugía fetal en la ciudad de México
(Medicina y Cirugía Fetal CDMX) se
formó en enero del año 2021. En un inicio estaba
integrado por tres ginecólogos materno-fetales
lidereados por el Dr. Raigam Jafet Martínez
Portilla, con adiestramiento en cirugía fetal en
España, dos neurocirujanos especialistas en
pediatría-fetal, tres anestesiólogos obstetras, un
neonatólogo experto en neurodesarrollo y dos rehabilitadores.
En el año 2023 se integró al grupo
el Dr. David Basurto Diaz, ginecólogo maternofetal
capacitado en cirugía fetal en Bélgica.
El día 29 de marzo del 2023 se inaugura el
Centro de Medicina y Cirugía Fetal Star Médica
HIP (Fetal Med&C «dando latidos de esperanza
»); posteriormente surge el Pabellón de la Mujer,
con certificación por el Canadian Healthcare
Council el primero de marzo del 2025.
