FRAGMENTO

El antígeno D del sistema Rh es el más inmunogénico de la superficie eritrocitaria después del sistema ABO. Su correcta tipificación evita la aloinmunización y reacciones hemolíticas transfusionales, o la enfermedad hemolítica del feto y del recién nacido (EHFRN). Aunque serológicamente se clasifica a los individuos de forma binaria como RhD positivo o negativo, las variantes fenotípicas rompen este paradigma.
