Intubación digital: Lo que se debe saber

RESUMEN

La intubación digital (ID) se describe como una opción en el manejo de pacientes con vía aérea difícil. Esta revisión aborda los orígenes de la ID, la forma de realizarla y los posibles escenarios donde permanece como una técnica útil a la hora de manejar pacientes con vía aérea difícil. Todo el personal que maneja vía aérea debe conocerla y practicarla, ya que existen situaciones extremas donde otras técnicas de intubación no son útiles o han fallado, especialmente en aquellos lugares donde los recursos son limitados.
