Tratamiento artroscópico de la gonartrosis y osteotomía tibial con fijadores externos. Experiencia personal del tratamiento de 40 rodillas

RESUMEN

Se trató a 32 pacientes con 40 rodillas artrósicas, con o sin conservación de la alineación de las mismas y con edades superiores a los 50 años, sin intervención quirúrgica previa. Por medio de artroscopía se les hizo desbridamiento, perforaciones y sinovectomía, así como osteotomía de alineación fijada con fijadores externos, que se hizo en 10 casos, por tener una deformidad mayor de 10 grados. Los grados más comunes de artrosis fueron del IV al VI. En esta serie a todos se les aplicó bupivacaína y dexametasona, que fueron de gran ayuda en el control del dolor postoperatorio y en la prevención de adherencias postoperatorias. La recuperación total fue en promedio después de 7 meses de la cirugía. Los resultados se consideraron excelentes en 20 casos, buenos en 10, regulares en 2 y malos en 2.
