RESUMEN

La fibrosis severa observada en ciertos casos de estenosis subglótica y traqueal puede colapsar la rama laríngea del tubo en T de Montgomery; si se le agrega un pequeño cilindro de silastic aumenta la resistencia de esta rama. Se presentan dos casos que lo ejemplifican. Este recurso representa una alternativa económica y útil para ser empleada en casos similares.
