RESUMEN

Desde el advenimiento de la terapia antirretroviral altamente efectiva, la sobrevida de los pacientes con virus de inmunodeficiencia humana se ha incrementado exponencialmente; es necesario revisar patologías crónicas como la hipertensión arterial pulmonar que se presentan como nuevas entidades y que pueden deteriorar la evolución clínica de este grupo de pacientes.
