Clasificación de las fracturas de escafoides

FRAGMENTO

Existen diversos sistemas de clasificación para las fracturas del escafoides que evalúan la localización, la severidad, la estabilidad de los fragmentos, el estado de consolidación y el intervalo de tiempo desde la lesión hasta el diagnóstico. Las fracturas agudas son aquéllas en las que el diagnóstico se hace antes de 3 semanas, con retraso de consolidación de 4 a 6 meses y seudoartrosis con más de 6 meses.
