Osteotomía femoral proximal plano-oblicua con técnica de Merle D’Aubigné. Descripción de la técnica quirúrgica

RESUMEN

La osteotomía femoral proximal plano-oblicua fue utilizada por Merle D´Aubigné y Valliant en el tratamiento de la osteoartritis o necrosis idiopática femoral proximal en adultos, siendo el Dr. Antonio Flores quien inició su aplicación pediátrica en caderas subluxadas por displasia acetabular residual con anteversión y valgo femoral para su centraje, lográndose corregir en 75% de los pacientes. El objetivo del artículo es describir la técnica así como sus indicaciones y complicaciones.
