Carcinoma secretor de mama: una variedad especial de carcinoma mamario. Informe de un caso

RESUMEN

El carcinoma secretor es una variante poco común del carcinoma ductal de mama que tiene características histopatológicas, inmunohistoquímicas y citogenéticas distintas del carcinoma ductal común, así como un mejor pronóstico debido a que las metástasis sistémicas son poco frecuentes. Suele presentarse a cualquier edad y por igual en ambos sexos, pero su mayor incidencia es en niños y adultos jóvenes. Se informa el caso de una mujer de 52 años con diagnóstico de carcinoma secretor de mama y múltiples metástasis sistémicas al momento del diagnóstico. Se describen los hallazgos histopatológicos y la revisión de la literatura.
