FRAGMENTO

El tumor odontogénico quístico calcificante es una lesión poco común de naturaleza benigna. Gorlin y su grupo lo describieron y clasificaron por primera vez en 1962. Anteriormente se denominaba quiste, pero debido a su capacidad de infiltración la OMS (2005) lo incluyó entre los tumores odontogénicos con epitelio, ectomesénquima, con o sin formación de tejido duro.
