Presencia de neumotórax en el postoperatorio inmediato: ¿Una entidad clínica con estricta responsabilidad anestésica?

FRAGMENTO

La presencia de neumotórax iatrogénico se atribuye regularmente a la punción de las venas subclavia y yugular interna, a la ventilación mecánica prolongada y al masaje cardiaco externo. Sin embargo, es necesario conocer la fisiopatología del neumotórax y los mecanismos básicos, que lo producen. Se presenta un caso que ejemplifica el neumotórax iatrogénico.
