RESUMEN

Los virus de la hepatitis B y C han sido un serio problema de salud pública a nivel mundial, dada su alta prevalencia. Debido a las grandes dificultades que en ocasiones implica su diagnóstico y a las grandes controversias en torno a su tratamiento, se llevó a cabo una revisión extensa de la literatura en cuanto a su diagnóstico y tratamiento en niños.
