Histeroscopia en infertilidad. Diagnóstico y tratamiento

RESUMEN

Se revisa la prevalencia de diferentes alteraciones uterinas asociadas con infertilidad, pérdidas gestacionales recurrentes y embarazos pretérmino. Se analizan las distintas causas de infertilidad, con enfoque principal en las de origen uterino (adherencias, septos, miomas, pólipos, inflamación e infecciones pélvicas y endometriosis). Se estudia la importancia de las técnicas quirúrgicas de mínima invasión, específicamente la histeroscopia, como método de diagnóstico y tratamiento, en comparación con otras técnicas. La importancia de esta técnica reduce el tiempo de estancia quirúrgica y las complicaciones.
