Tratamiento de la rotura no reciente del tendón patelar con tendones semitendinoso y gracilis

RESUMEN

La lesión del tendón patelar tiene gran importancia por el papel que tiene este tendón en la conformación del mecanismo extensor del cuadríceps. Al lesionarse el extremo final de este mecanismo, se pierde completamente la función extensora de la rodilla y por ende se altera totalmente la capacidad funcional de la extremidad afectada del individuo.
