RESUMEN

Presentamos siete pacientes de seroma tardío posterior a aumento mamario con implantes texturizados de gel de silicón: cuatro de ellas entre uno y dos años, y tres a los 7, 10 y 11 años después de operadas. Todas ellas sin antecedente de trauma o cualquier otra causa que se pudiera asociar con el seroma. Ninguna con cápsula mamaria patológica asociada ni con ruptura del implante. El diagnóstico se sospechó por clínica y se corroboró por ultrasonido y/o mastografía. En todos los casos el tratamiento fue el drenaje quirúrgico y capsulectomía. En las dos más tardías con cambio de implante mamario y del plano anatómico de colocación.
