FRAGMENTO

El uso de itraconazol con diferentes esquemas de tratamiento, tanto continuos como en pulsos, se encuentra ampliamente difundido para el manejo de micosis exclusivamente tegumentarias. Asimismo, se emplea en el tratamiento de algunas micosis subcutáneas como la esporotricosis y en algunas formas profundas, especialmente, la histoplasmosis y la coccidioidomicosis. Durante su empleo, pocas veces se piensa en las interacciones que pueden presentarse con antimicrobianos, otros antimicóticos y otros fármacos.
