FRAGMENTO

Golpe de calor: un problema de salud pública en Mexicali.

Estimado editor: A través de este espacio damos a conocer los resultados obtenidos de nuestro trabajo retrospectivo y observacional de cuatro años, donde evaluamos el número de ingresos al servicio de urgencias del Hospital General de Mexicali con diagnóstico de golpe de calor. Esta condición grave y potencialmente fatal la desarrollan personas expuestas a altas temperaturas ambientales, más comúnmente en áreas templadas.
