Pioderma gangrenoso. Revisión de la bibliografía

RESUMEN

El pioderma gangrenoso es una enfermedad poco frecuente, de causa desconocida, que se caracteriza por pápulas o pústulas dolorosas que se ulceran rápidamente y se presenta con halo eritematovioláceo, se asocia hasta en 70% con enfermedades sistémicas, como artritis reumatoide seropositiva o artropatías seronegativas, y hasta en 40% con fenómeno de patergia. En México se han publicado dos series de casos en los últimos años; sin embargo, se desconoce la frecuencia de presentación. En esta revisión se realizó una búsqueda y descripcion de las características clínicas, etiopatogenia y tratamiento del pioderma gangrenoso.
