Artritis de rodilla por Pseudomonas aeruginosa posterior a reconstrucción de ligamento cruzado anterior en un adolescente deportista

RESUMEN

La reconstrucción de ligamento cruzado anterior de la rodilla es un procedimiento que en la actualidad se realiza con mucha frecuencia. Las infecciones postoperatorias posteriores a este procedimiento son complicaciones catastróficas aunque muy infrecuentes con reportes en la literatura de menos de 1% de todas las reconstrucciones realizadas en los Estados Unidos. Presentamos el reporte de un caso de artritis séptica de rodilla posterior y asociada a la reconstrucción de ligamento cruzado anterior.
