Experiencia de una unidad de endoscopia con estudios de videobroncoscopia para el diagnóstico de patología traqueobronquial

RESUMEN

Antecedentes: En sus nuevas modalidades (videobroncoscopia directa y directa),la broncoscopia flexible se ha consolidado como una herramienta primordial en el diagnóstico de las enfermedades traqueobronquiales. Material y métodos: Estudio retrospectivo en el Hospital Betania de Puebla, evaluando la realización de videobroncoscopias indirectas a 50 pacientes en el periodo enero 1994 a marzo 1996. Resultados: No se encontraron complicaciones asociadas al procedimiento. Conclusiones: La videobroncoscopia indirecta es un estudio útil en patología traqueobronquial, y no se asoció a complicaciones en la población estudiada.
