Introducción

Actualmente observamos un incremento en la prevalencia de obesidad en la edad pediátrica a nivel mundial y en especial en la población mexicana. El niño obeso presenta un aumento de las comorbilidades, además de dificultad en el manejo perioperatorio e incremento en las complicaciones perioperatorias.
