RESUMEN

La eyaculación es un reflejo requiere dos fases la de emisión y la de expulsión, la primera involucra la deposición de líquido seminal hacia los conductos deferentes y a la uretra posterior. La segunda fase de expulsión incluye el cierre del cuello de la vejiga seguido de contracciones rítmicas de los músculos bulboesponjoso e isquiocavernoso y la relajación intermitente del esfínter uretral externo. El proceso de eyaculación como tal se encuentra modulado por un complejo de neurotransmisores dopamina, oxitocina y el 5HT (serotonina) un desequilibrio en ellos resultara en la EP.
