RESUMEN

Este artículo relata algunos aspectos históricos del linfoma de Hodkgin, incluyendo la primera descripción de la enfermedad realizada por Thomas Hodgkin y el origen de uno de los epónimos más reconocidos en el mundo médico. Además, se describe la historia detrás del progreso en el diagnóstico, estadiaje y tratamiento de la enfermedad, insistiendo en los puntos clave que permitieron alcanzar la meta de curación en muchos casos.
