Sarcoma del estroma endometrial de bajo grado

RESUMEN

El sarcoma del estroma endometrial es un tumor infrecuente que contabiliza menos del 10% de los sarcomas uterinos. Se presenta el caso de una mujer de 25 años con una tumoración uterina detectada mediante el examen físico a la que se le realizó una histerectomía total. Microscópicamente dicho tumor estaba constituido por una densa proliferación de células inflamatorias y la vascularización sin signos de malignidad; el tratamiento fue la realización de la histerectomía total abdominal.
