Aunque en el interesante trabajo de Tarragó et al 1 se describen los principales factores de riesgo de cardiopatía isquémica, deseamos referirnos además al papel de la disfunción endotelial en el riesgo cardiovascular, un tema polémico sometido a debate e investigación, no tratado en el citado artículo.
