RESUMEN

El quiste óseo aneurismático (QOA, por sus siglas en español) es una lesión benigna, osteolítica, localmente destructiva y expansiva de la vascularización ósea, que aun resulta en un reto diagnóstico y terapéutico. En este artículo se realizará una revisión de la literatura, para discutir la patogenia de la lesión, las características imagenológicas e histológicas para su diagnóstico y los diferentes tratamientos utilizados.
