En fecha reciente la revista publicó un interesante trabajo de Leyva Pérez y cols. 1 sobre una caracterización de las enfermedades cerebrovasculares (ECV) en el municipio Mayarí, que refiere, en una serie de casos de pacientes hospitalizados en una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, como principales factores de riesgo: la hipertensión arterial (HTA) y el hábito de fumar.
