Walter Schiller (Fig. 1), (3 Diciembre 1887, . Viena – 2 Mayo 1960, Evanston, Illinois, EUA). Nació en Viena en 1887, hijo único de Friedrich y Emma Schiller, de origen judío. Estudió en Viena, trabajando como asistente de fisiología bajo la dirección de Sigmund Exner y patología al lado de Anton Weichselbaum
