Leímos con gusto la carta de Cuevas-Orta y Abud-Mendoza. A sus comentarios acerca de la historia del uso de metotrexato en el tratamiento de la artritis reumatoide (AR) cabe agregar que este fármaco ha mejorado la esperanza de vida en los pacientes con AR.
