RESUMEN

El schwannoma plexiforme es una variante poco frecuente del schwannoma. Su localización y los hallazgos histológicos son las principales diferencias con respecto al schwannoma convencional. Se presenta un caso de schwannoma plexiforme y se revisan brevemente sus características, con especial atención al diagnóstico diferencial histopatológico. Se remarca también la necesidad de descartar las posibles, aunque infrecuentes, enfermedades asociadas.
