El ombligo es una estructura anatómica en la que pueden aparecer lesiones de naturaleza muy diversa tanto benignas como malignas. La aparición de un epitelioma basocelular en el ombligo es muy poco frecuente. Por otro lado, clínicamente puede ser indistinguible de un nódulo umbilical metastásico.
