FRAGMENTO

Al igual que sucedió en el 2003,1 en el 2013 se publicaron casi simultáneamente varias Guías de Hipertensión Arterial (HTA). Nuevamente hay diferencias entre ellas y es la del Eighth Joint National Committee (JNC8) la más polémica.
Las directrices emitidas por el Joint National Committee han sido históricamente las de más influencia internacional, por esta razón es que consideramos oportuno reflexionar acerca del tema.
