Introducción
A través de la historia hemos tenido grandes exponentes en medicina, ya que gracias a trabajos como los de Alexis Carrel a principios del siglo pasado (que incluso le valieron el Premio Nobel de Medicina en 1912), Carrel y Authrie hicieron el antecedente inicial en trasplante de pulmón dentro de la cirugía vascular.
