RESUMEN

Paciente masculino de 88 años con antecedentes de hipertensión arterial e hipotiroidismo con cuadro de meningoencefalitis y bacteremia por Haemophilus parainfluenzae en quien se documenta hipoacusia bilateral como secuela.Se analiza la frecuencia de H. parainfluenzae como germen causante de meningitis e hipoacusia secundaria.
