FRAGMENTO

La reposición de líquidos desde etapas iniciales repercute en la morbimortalidad del paciente; de ahí la importancia para nosotros como médicos anestesiólogos ofrecer el mejor manejo en todo momento que tengamos intervención con el paciente, ya sea desde su ingreso a urgencias, UCI, quirófano y en el entorno del perioperatorio; tomando en cuenta la gravedad de la quemadura, la fisiopatología y la valoración integral, eligiendo así el mejor aporte de líquidos de acuerdo con el tiempo de evolución desde la quemadura.
