Papillon-Lefèvre y periodontitis. Reporte de 2 casos

RESUMEN

El síndrome de Papillon-Lefèvre es un trastorno autosómico recesivo que se caracteriza por presentar hiperqueratosis en la palma de las manos y planta de los pies. Una de las manifestaciones de la enfermedad se asocia a la destrucción periodontal que afecta ambas denticiones, llevando a la pérdida de los dientes a edades muy tempranas. En este estudio se reportan los hallazgos clínicos antes y después del manejo periodontal de dos pacientes con este padecimiento.
