RESUMEN

La pustulosis exantemática generalizada aguda es una entidad poco frecuente relacionada con fármacos, en su mayoría antibióticos. Se caracteriza por pústulas estériles menores a cinco milímetros sobre una base eritematosa, autolimitada y de curso benigno que ceden al retirar el fármaco agresor. El diagnóstico se basa en la presentación clínica e histopatología. Presentamos el caso de un hombre de 52 años con pustulosis exantemática generalizada aguda asociada con ceftriaxona, que fue diagnosticado a partir de las lesiones cutáneas.
