RESUMEN

Mujer de 24 años de edad, asintomática, a quien se le practicó colposcopia, biopsia cervical y posteriormente conización por un carcinoma escamocelular in situ con extensión glandular. Simultáneamente se le realizó biopsia endometrial, en la que se diagnosticó incidentalmente un nódulo del sitio placentario, lesión infrecuente no neoplásica originada del trofoblasto intermedio. Dada la coexistencia de estas dos afecciones, es necesario hacer el diagnóstico diferencial entre ellas y con otras patologías del trofoblasto, como el sitio de implantación exagerado, el tumor trofoblástico del sitio placentario y el tumor trofoblástico epitelioide.
